- 💗 It’s all coming back to me now!
Guest Blogger ; Kathryn Moloney of Enfield Healing Centre Isn’t it amazing how memories can be triggered ? A got a text from a very special lady a few weeks ago telling me how she had found something of mine and just like that, all those fond memories came flooding back in ...💕 Well my journey began more than 20 yrs ago now, at the time I was working as a hotel receptionist and although I loved working with the public, I didn’t enjoy the shift work and weekend work. I was at a crossroads. I saw an ad for a meditation group that was being run literally across from my home and I saw this as a sign. Turns out the chap that ran this group was a reformed drug user and over the weeks he really inspired me. Well low and behold, the synchronicity didn’t stop there ..a few weeks later a local newspaper came through my door and I sat down one day with a cup of coffee to read it. I saw an advertisement for a massage course and it immediately caught my eye. After so much negative self talk like “you wouldn’t be able to do that”, “why would you waste money on a hobby when there’s loads of stuff needed for the house”, “you’ve a grand reliable job, why would you want to change anything”, I decided to feel the fear and do it anyway and with the full support of my husband, I went for it and went for it I did as I haven’t looked back since. I don’t know if any of you remember the First National Building Society, at the time they were offering dividends to their customers, so I used this money and signed up . The name on the end of the advertisement was Regina’s. I remember being so nervous making that call. But from the get go Regina’s compassion and wicked sense of humour put me right at ease and I knew we would get on like a house on fire, so she went on to be my wonderful teacher and also became a very special friend, you know the kind of friend that you may not talk to every week but when you do, you just take off where you left off with the greatest of ease. 😊 From the minute I began this journey, I knew I had found my gift 💗. I am always amazed how the littlest steps lead you to where you are meant to be. So that very special lady ... Regina, who text me telling me she had found my application for my very first diploma course all those years ago, helped start me on my wonderful journey, a journey that’s not over yet, a journey that has helped me grow and transform into the woman I am today, and for that Regina, I will be forever grateful 💕. - 💗 From There to Here
De-cluttering, we are told is an exercise we should take part in on a regular basis! Well, there I was going through papers that I found in an old storage box when I came across a newspaper cutting. It was the first advertisement for my training school. At that time, I lived in Templeogue, and I had a nice little room in the Spawell Complex, they have all the rooms divided into units now, so different to that time. My teaching qualification was in Holistic Massage, Reflexology and Stress Management at that time. September 1999 was the first class I held. I looked at that photo and it brought back really lovely memories. Mostly of the students I taught, who were just incredible. Willing to do the work and succeed in every possible way. Some of them I am still friendly with to this day. Teaching wasn’t something I had intended to do, until my first tutor suggested to me that if I were willing to do a course, he would give me a reference then a job when I passed. My first reaction was ‘me I couldn’t do that’! He said back ‘if not, why not’? So that’s what happened, I took his advice, and he did exactly as he promised he recommended me for a job with City of Dublin Education and Training Board. The woman teaching the course at the time took ill and I stepped in to replace her during her sick leave. One thing followed another and last month I just retired from 23 years of teaching! What I brought to the work was, a high standard. I wanted to include topics that were not on the syllabus. Like protecting the therapist’s energy, supervised case study work during the class time, work experience, chakra knowledge and much more. My wish for my graduates at the end of the year was, not to just own the ‘piece of paper’. I wanted them to be “real therapists”. You only get out what you put in, I made that statement lots of times, and I had some truly applied dedicated students who topped the scores. Leaving my diploma teaching behind, allows me to continue with my ‘other work’, my beloved Life Coaching. Working one to one and with groups mostly women, although I do have male clients as well. I really enjoy teaching stress management, mindfulness, self-care, and personal development. My work tools are simple and easy, and my mission is empowerment. As the words of the song goes ‘It’s a long way from Clare to here’, it’s certainly been a long way from there to here! Starting off as a receiver of Aromatherapy to teaching hundreds of students and turning out some superb graduates. How does it get better than this? #bosslady #mystory #anxiety #stress #overwhelm #lifecoach #adulteducation #aromatherapy #qtt #mindfulness #selfcare #gratitude
- 💗 Regina ~ my guru, my mentor, my friend
How do you know when someone has moved from an acquaintance to becoming part of your life forever? When you can have a video call with them while you shave your legs & neither of you bat an eyelid! (I better tell you the shaver of said legs was me & not Regina!) When I first met Regina 4 years ago I had no clue that she would become one of the most important & valuable friends in my life. While she is old enough to be my mother she is certainly fun & youthful enough to be in my girl gang! When I signed up for that mindfulness class in my son’s primary school my fate was sealed. We clicked...we shared common values & mindsets. When I needed to rediscover myself & dust off my soul she was there. My guru, my mentor, my friend. What have I have learned about Regina over the past 4 years...well she is vibrant...from her platinum blonde hair to her stylish shoes. She is giving...if you need a skill and she’s got it then it’s yours. She is thoughtful...when you think no one would be bothered, she is already planning the solution. She resonates on so many levels with so many people. She is memorable...she can hold an audience as well as she can hold her pen. When she speaks people want to listen when she writes they want to read it. She is a powerhouse...although is is little she is mighty! She is ‘on brand’...from her car to her clothes & she lives and breathes what she teaches. So proud of my friend & I look forward to reading her own blog posts soon, Erin 💗 #friendship #balance #compliment #girlgang #values #mindset #holisticlifecoach #mentor #shehasmyback
- 💗 My Vision
My vision is to provide women with a safe sanctuary, whether it be in my treatment room or on zoom, where they can work through their emotional negative struggles. I’ll be using tips tools techniques and therapies to help them live their best life whatever that is for them. I know that my clients need this because there is a lot expected of young women now, to work full time, to bring in good money, to manage a home, to take care of children. So, no time for themselves. When the exhaustion gets to the point of no return, I am there to guide them through to the freedom they deserve. I know that I can help clients as I have 25 years of trained experience behind me. Not only that but I have had lots of difficulties and overcome them to live my best life. Clients very often are looking for someone to fix them. However, I can’t do that, but understand what that feels like, as I have been there too. ‘Fixing’ the inside is a journey, one I can make interesting and productive for you. Inspiring you to make changes and nurturing you while you do is my speciality. I do realise having come through lots of negative stuff, that there is a better life out there for everyone. I can help you regain your self-confidence and self-belief. If there is old beliefs and negative behaviour patterns present, I can help you using QTT, NLP and other modalities to release what no longer serves you. How good is that knowing that you can release old emotional baggage of being stuck, in overwhelm anxiety and stress and live your best peaceful life possible. #stress #stressmanagement #lifecoach #holisticlifecoach #empower #womensupportingwomen #peacefullife #stresstools #empower #qtt #anxiety
- 💗 Aromatherapy ~ My Introduction
The heart was thumping in my chest, water dripping down my back, my stomach felt like a washing machine as I entered a room full of women I had never met before, all eagerly waiting for ‘the talk’ to start. The first thing that struck me was the fragrance. It drew me right to the centre of the room. There stood a woman, beside a massage bed, getting her equipment ready for the talk. She was wearing a purple skirt and a white top. Her hair was long and tied back. She was about to demonstrate a face massage using essential oils. Her beautiful oils were all laid out with love, those that relaxed, de-stressed and uplifted us. As we were a group of parents with kids with additional needs this information was just invaluable. The title of the talk was ‘Coping with Stress a New Way’. I was intrigued by the word ‘stress’ even though I had never heard it before, I was aware of its effects! Aromatherapy was my first introduction to the world of healing therapies. I received many full body treatments from that wonderful therapist, in an effort to manage my stress which really did the trick. The weekly contact with her was magical. She suggested I find a training course so that I could become a therapist myself. I enrolled in a year long, full time College course and there my journey began, learning to help other people manage their stress too. Many hours of study followed. I qualified with an Holistic Massage and a Stress Management Diploma at the end of that academic year. I went on to add much more to my repertoire including a teaching diploma. I opened my training college where I taught the therapies, I was qualified in for 16 years. As I have progressed through my journey into healing myself and helping others to heal, I have come to love coaching which includes a combination of all I know and an amazing new modality, Quantum Thinking Technologies. Clients are having great results with a combination of therapies, tips tools and techniques. Empowering clients with knowledge, inspiring them to change their thinking, let go of old patterns of belief and negativity that no longer serve them and nurturing them to live the happy peaceful life they deserve, is just what I love to do.
